Attention span VS time at parties
I've been noticing that my attention span for engaging in conversation grows progressively shorter the longer I stay at a party. When I first arrive I can comfortably enjoy talking to the same 3-4 people for an hour but after a few hours I find myself flitting languidly across conversations, unable to focus on any one for more than a couple of minutes. Maybe it's my inner introvert putting his foot down.
